If you have an affinity with the ocean, as I do, then you will love the Indian ocean in Perth, Australia!
Floating in this seemingly endless body of water, reminds me of the infinite abundance we all have access to..
As 2008 is coming to a close, I can feel the buzz in the air... excitement at a new year ahead... possibilities... new chances...hope...
A few years ago I started a ritual around this time of year to make a list of at least 100 things I am grateful for in the past year. This has been such an incredibly full year for me, and I am sure for many others also.
Looking back and taking time to reflect on what worked well, what inspired me, who touched my heart and life, where did I make a difference, what was the biggest triumph, what did I complete and where did I make the biggest progress... these are some of the questions to put the past 12 months into perspective.
One of the biggest triumphs for me this year has been to resign from United after 15 years and to follow my heart and passion in coaching!
I have so many things to be grateful for and so many people who touched me so deeply in so many profound ways.
For everyone who has supported me on this journey and who believes in me... THANK YOU!
I couldn't have done it without you!
One of my biggest challenges has been to let go of the need to know how and when things will show up for me... the control freak! And to surrender into TRUST:-)
Miracles have happened and continue to happen, faster and faster...
One of them was being gifted with the travel benefits from United by a good friend! Thank you Miriam!
It has made my journey back home to Australia very enjoyable indeed:-)
Gratitude is such an uplifting energy and makes you irresistable for more things to be grateful for!
So after completing my gratitude list, I then move into writing my intentions for the new year.
The act of writing down your intentions is so powerful and apparently only about 3% of the population actually do this!
There is an art to doing this, however...
As our inner state of being ( which includes our beliefs and perceptions) creates what we experience in our world, the key is to update those inner convictions which may not be serving you so well anymore.
Looking back at 2008, how do you feel about your year?
What do you envision for yourself in 2009?
If you keep doing what you did the past 12 months, you'll get more of the same in the new year...
What I find absolutely fascinating is how our minds seem to work... Have you ever said you wanted to do something, had all the best intentions to do it and then... what happened?
We all somehow seem to have a certain degree of resistance to change!
Often from an unconscious level:-) But you probably know that already.
We say we want to change something, we know what to do about it, yet our actions seem to be determined to sabotage us in our efforts!
And I don't know about you, but trying to resolve this on a rational/mental level just doesn't seem to work.
This is where TAT ( Tapas Acupressure Technique), Zpoint and other energy modalities offer us an easy solution.
Doing these techniques on your own is powerful...
Joining in a group amps it up so much more!
Perhaps you'll join me during the year for our fun and easy teleclasses...
Happy new year and many joyful blessings,
